Green Side Up’s core aeration service
is normally performed in the fall in conjunction
with seeding services. However, it is always
a good idea to core aerate your lawn. By aerating
you are allowing essential air and nutrients
to get deep into the root system of the grass
plant. This promotes deeper healthier root
growth and promotes hardiness. Most experts
will say core aeration is the healthiest service
a lawn can receive.
It is Green Side Up’s
belief that if you do not core aerate and
seed in the fall your lawn most likely will
regress the following year. The seed used
is normally Kentucky Bluegrass, Fescue and
Ryegrass or a blend of 2 or more grasses.
Green Side Up can make recommendations if
necessary.
